We have been living under corona for more than one and half years. Everybody must have some kind of stress and anxiety more or less. Some people’s nervous system may be in disorder. And I am one of them.
I love to spend time together with Greens-plants. I feel so relaxed and comfortable. They make me forget disgusting things and dispel anxiety. I have been painting pictures with such scenery which I
believe is peaceful.
All the pictures will be uploaded soon (when this homepage site is renewed).
*The renewed HP is planned to be ready by the end of June 2021.
★Essays are available for four paintings under ① and for some paintings under ②. My motivation with some episode and background for painting each picture can be found in essays.

HOW THE PANDEMIC AND OUR MIND ARE INTERRELATED LATENTLY UNDER THE TIMES
- The titles for 4 works
- 1)Hydrangea Wreaths on Silver
- 2)Hydrangea Wreaths on Gold
- 3)Roses, Sweet peas & Strawberries
- 4)White Sweet peas & Roses on Grapes
You might have an impression of “Stoic or Cool”and “Fancy-free or Optimistic”which are contradictory.
Number 1 & 2 Wreaths works are reflecting the society such as ‘lock-down’, ‘stay-at-home’and ’infection fear or anxiety’. Ghostly looking city and compulsory stay-at-home order might be affecting the paintings
more or less.
In the Number 3 & 4, however, flowers and fruits are depicted actively and brightly as if people burst with excitement after the reopening the society.

---Mysterious Flowers---
The Colors have been fascinating me,
to say nothing of her pictures themselves.
Mr. Roger Bouillot; The Arts Critic in France
I fell in love with “hibiscus flowers” being surrounded with peace and natural beauty, when I visited Maui, Hawaii for the first time in 1998. Since then, the flowers have been captivating my energy and soul every time
I stay there.
“Hibiscus ” reminds us of primary colors such as red or pink. And it blooms vigorously under the sun being glared down in southern islands.
On the contrary to as it looks, however, it is
weak and fragile; the period in full bloom is short – usually only one day. There are more than ten thousand kinds of hibiscuses in the world. All of them are very attractive with full of mystery. I happened to
stay in Maui in 2017 after a long break. And it turned out to be the opportunity to start painting such mysterious flowers.
About 45 paintings on Hibiscus flowers were exhibited at Fujiya Gallery in Ginza.
The video on the exhibition can be seen on You Tube.
